Como is easily reached by plane, being close to the Milano Airports of Malpensa and Linate and also to the airport of Zurich. Como is also very well connected by trains to all of the major European Cities. Frequent and fast train service connects Como to Milano or to Switzerland daily.
The best way to reach Como is landing in Milano Malpensa Airport, taking the railway connection Malpensa Express as far as Saronno railway station, and finally taking one of the many existing trains to Como (first presented solution). Another good solution is landing in Milano Malpensa Airport and taking the direct bus SPT line C-250 to Como (second presented solution).

From Milano Malpensa Airport

Malpensa Airport is now also served by the railway connection Malpensa Express between the Terminal 1 and Milano Cadorna Railway Station. You may check the time table here. The 40 minutes journey makes an intermediate stop at Saronno Railway Station after 20 min.	From Saronno railway station there are many trains to Como, you may check the time table here.

There is a direct bus SPT line C-250 from Malpensa Airport to Como (click "Orari" and then "Speciale Malpensa"), which takes about an hour, and is expected to leave from Terminal 1 at 9.20, 11.00, 12.20, 14.15, 16.45, 19.25, and from Terminal 2 at 9.24, 11.04, 12.24, 14.19, 16.49, 19.29. Tickets are available on board.

Take the Airpullmann Bus till Milano Centrale Railway Station. Tickets are available on Airport 2000 Office (Arrival Terminal 1) or at Air Pullman Office (Arrival Terminal 2).	Take the train, stop at Como San Giovanni station. You may check the time table here.

From Zurich Airport

The airport has a Swiss Federal Railways Station located under Terminal B, with trains to central Zurich and many city and tourist destinations across Switzerland. Train from Zurich airport railway station to Zurich Central station (10 min. approx.).	Train from Zurich Central station to Como San Giovanni station, you may check the time table here.

Take the highway A9 and get off at *Como Nord* or *Como Sud* exit.

From Milano Linate Airport

1) Take the S.T.A.M. Bus (buy the ticket on the bus) till Milano Centrale Railway Station (the journey takes 30 min. approximately). Buses depart approximately every 30 minutes between 6.00 and 23.30.	Take the train, stop at Como San Giovanni station. You may check the time table here.
2) Take ATM bus n. 73: it goes to Milano city center (S.Babila; the journey takes 20 min. approximately) and connection with underground line 1 (red line) to Duomo and then, take line 3 (yellow line) to Milano Centrale Railway Station. Use the normal ATM tiket .
